Glass vase of water randomly breaking...cause? - round glass vase
I have a large glass vase, as it would be a perfect dish looked. I managed to come home and put stones on the floor, then began to fill with water. I heard a loud bang and thought my friend had something left, one minutes later, broke the glass and the water on the rocks were everywhere. I have it in the bathtub, and when I saw a little higher, that many more breaks. What is the cause? There was no change in temperature.

Response to accidental damage - not necessarily by you - the structural weakness of the causes that are not obvious until under the weight of stone and water.
