Are an existing optical output DTS Audio Receiver, upconverting DVD Player, and a 720 LCD TV Compatible? - upconverting dvd optical
I currently have a Sony receiver with DTS and ST835 optical output, a Samsung HD-870 Upconvert DVD player and I hope to buy a budget 32 "LCD TV with a decent (lots of sets that do not have to have my opinion has to). II will care about the loss of the ability of DTS (DVD player and receiver of the time) and my biggest recipients do no HDMI input (new TV and DVD player, or both). Please make budgetary recommendations thoughtful People like me. What kept, combined or updated please? Note: I have and I can not afford cable television right now. I'm using rabbit ears on my CRT now until February 2009 to receive a signal. Thank you.

You can also HDMI video upconversion for DVD player to your TV to have an optical (or digital coaxial) Cable surround audio (DTS HD) DVD player (to the recipient in a DVD menu, Clear).
You do not need the HDMI receiver (even if you do not change the font in the same place ... you need to convert a DVD into the receiver for the sound and proper entry into the television to the get picture) and still get DTS and DD surround.
How can you audio output of the optical or coaxial digital television, surrounded to the recipient. Note that all TV 5.1 ... is only stereo.
Note that an upscaling DVD player, will offer no advantage unless you have an HDTV ... and requires programming skills to receive high-definition television (HDTV Also note that many of them are not so good) with SDTV TV programs such as the replacement. You can use a antenna for HD, if you live relatively close - 30-75 miles, depending on the antenna used - the station (s), but eventually want cable or satellite HD, unless you're in a Greater Metropolitan.
